5 star rating Found this spot through the app while traveling to LA. The service was impeccable, staff was friendly and very attentive. I order one of their Saturday specials, a ham, bacon, cheese scramble, with the yummie cottage fries and the best blueberry muffin I have ever tasted it was warmed and full of berries!
My husband had the country fried steak with Hashbrowns and a side of bacon with their fresh salsa! All of it was delicious!

5 star rating This place is comfort food and comfort dining to a tee. When we first moved from Carpinteria to Santa Barbara, my wife and I basically ate all of our meals here. The dishes are well prepared, the servers and staff kind and welcoming, and the clientele generally family oriented. They are very accommodating with my young daughter's tastes and whims, while maintaining quality. Though there was an ownership change, during which the experience was less than ideal, it's getting back on its feet. A renovation in the past year also freshened the place up. Glad to have them back for dinner, along with great breakfast and lunch.

5 star rating Great Mom and Pop brunch cafe. The menu offers a wide variety of American comfort breakfast food and Mexican breakfast food. The food was so good that I went two days in a row to try another menu item. Everything seemed fresh and homemade, and the portion sizes were phenomenal. I loved the blueberry muffin. The puff on top tasted and felt like a soft sugar cookie, yet the inside was rich and fluffy. Absolutely delicious. The friendly staff and great, reasonably priced food is more than enough to earn my five stars.

5 star rating My favorite diner in SB! The food has always been good ( we mainly visit for breakfast or lunch). I find this spot much more flavor in the food then the Mesa which shares the same menu items. The cooks seem to have cooked together for a while. Claudia is the best although she has a few newbies that are hot on her tail.

5 star rating Cody's Cafe is our weekly Salmon Salad pickup during Restrictions. Ordinarily, pre-covid, we would lunch there almost every week. As always, the service is still great. The food is made to order and delicious. Christina is always welcoming and knows just how we like our order prepared. The cooks are fantastic too!
We look forward to getting back to Cody's and the whole staff soon!
