My family and friends have been going to Cody’s since it opened. In fact, I remember playing Gauntlet at Round Table Pizza at this location after San Marcos football games.
You’ll always find this place filled with locals looking for solid diner style food at a good price. Tonight I had the chicken tostada but in the past I’ve enjoyed the salads, sandwiches, and numerous specials. They really treat kids well here and have some of the friendliest servers in town.
Cody’s excels at breakfast and is worth the wait on the weekends. The bacon omelette is off the hook, and they’ll let you substitute a single pancake for the toast. There really is no downside to Cody’s if you understand that it’s not a typical high brow SB spot, except sometimes I get too full and need to lie down for a bit.
